Part promo and part act of resistance, Luis’ hybrid of music video and street documentary features no actors. The project was reshaped by the socio-political tensions unfolding on the ground – ICE detentions, LA riots, and an NYPD reluctant to greenlight any gathering. The result is a time capsule – a hyperlocal snapshot of a community on its own terms. A collection of vignettes blending artists performance, lifestyle and street dance.
