We are delighted to be announcing our partnership with Minute Shorts. Together, we will open the door for the next generation of UK filmmakers, creating a bridge for expression and the nurturing of creative minds, to showcase and develop cutting edge and quality narrative film. This will be done over time through practical film experiences and discovery, employment, mentorship and inspiration.
We are establishing a film fund to raise money towards helping young filmmakers and crew from marginalised groups, to finance projects.
We are creating space for a selected crew member to be a part of new Spindle commercial and narrative shoots from 2021.
We will provide feedback and learned experiences for aspiring filmmakers and crew through interviews, workshops, events and more.

In 2002, Yvon Chouinard, founder of Patagonia created 1% for the Planet and started a global movement. The idea was simple: because companies profit from the resources they take from the earth, they should protect those resources. They would do this by giving 1% of their sales to environmental organisations.
Spindle is committed to eliminating the negative environmental impact of our productions and is delighted to be joining 1% for the Planet to continue our mission of giving back to the planet and not taking away from it.
