Matt Houghton’s ‘This Is Endometriosis’ nominated for a BAFTA.

Directed by Spindle director Matt Houghton and Georgie Wileman, this intimate documentary short is about Georgie’s brutal experience of endometriosis and the power of community. Told in the first-person and blending private, self-documented material, family archive, traditional observational footage and a collection of reconstructive memories, the film tells the story of a young photographer’s battle to stay in the present while facing a wall of disbelief.

This Is Endometriosis is up for Best British Short at BAFTA 2026. Huge well done to all involved.
